I've owned pretty much most computers since 1979, was a bit of a geek as i grew up, Remember getting the first incarnation of the playstation was amazed at the graphics compared to previous games consoles.. Almost arcade quality graphics in a small gray box. Was lucky enough to own one with an extra connection on the back to stick in a small device that allowed you to play "backed up" discs.

I don't really know much about the PS1, I'm only really familiar with the PS2, and even then my knowledge is pretty limited. I do know that the PS2 sold more units than any other console in history(at least as of 2013; don't know if that's still the case), and I can see why; the PS2 is the only console I ever really played extensively, even more so than my Wii and NDS(although handhelds don't really count IMHO).

It was rumoured that the ps1 came about as sony was asked by nintendo to make a CD drive for the SNES, but then nintendo said they didn't want a 3rd party making stuff for the console. By then sony had started developing a prototype "CD Snes" console, which then got upgraded with different internals and became the PS1.. wheather this was true is lost in the mists of history and folk lore.

I wouldn't doubt the possibility of it. The PS1 does look a bit like something Nintendo might make, in terms of it's design and look. Almost all of Sony's products are colored black and they usually have a sleek look to them(the PS3 is a great example), but the PS1 doesn't look like that at all. It does actually resemble some older Nintendo products in some ways; If you look at the SNES and the PS1 next to each other, they look VERY similar in terms of design.

    heh...

*Kid flushes game disc down the toilet*
Kid: "Mommy I think something's wrong with the Atari Jaguar!"
    Mom: "Son, that's the toilet!"
Kid: "How am I supposed to tell them apart when they both look the same?"

    It's all over now...
    The war has finally ended...
The devs have been defeated for good...
And peace has once more been restored to the forums...

    The end.

If that's the case then we'll just have to keep going until one of us gets bored and gives up(so probably never lol) :P

So it's like a resume but with more information and extra details, I see...
Also, I don't have a job right now and don't plan on getting one until probably a little time after I graduate from high school, and on top of that I highly doubt I'd need to fill out an online application considering that job I plan to get.
    Ya bloody twat.

PS: I may not be a Brit, but I definitely prefer British English over American English, so don't judge me if I use British terms instead of speaking like a normal American(that is, without knowledge of grammar, spelling, pronunciation, etc...)
